Monoplacophorans
Monoplacophorans are a group of mollusks that were known as fossils before they were discovered to still be alive today. They have a distinctive cap-shaped shell.
Scenella radians is a species of monoplacophoran from the Cambrian of Utah. It was first described as a jellyfish-like animal (chondrophoran hydrozoan), but it is now considered a mollusk by many paleontologists.
